About Me
The road to success gets tougher all the time, and for many of our young people, opportunity can be elusive. Our future depends on our youth, and I believe we must help them get a leg up. Whether it's post-secondary education, getting their first job, or overcoming the obstacles that can hold them back, it is imperative we step up.
In my life, there are three key principles I live by:
1) The more you give, the more you get.
2) Life is about experiences, not things.
3) Do things most other people won't do.
The Victory Gala is an opportunity for me to make a difference while living up to these principles.
I am honoured to do this and look forward to competing and having fun. At my age, opportunities to work toward a new goal, showing the hard work that went into it, and helping others in the process, are real privileges.
Why
Who inspires you everyday?
My daily inspiration, especially when it has been a hard day, is the people who persevere. People who come from nothing and achieve their dreams. The people who don't let the voices of those who say they can't, or they shouldn't, stop them from forging ahead. Those who understand the value of sacrifice and discipline. There are many examples I could list, but here are a few that genuinely inspire me:
Muhammad Ali took a stand on his principles, suffered for it, and then came back and killed it.
George Foreman is the oldest-ever heavyweight champ at 45, who came back and won 22 straight fights after a 10-year absence.
Sylvester Stallone was told he would never succeed in Hollywood, and we all know what he accomplished.

Inspiring Quote:
"Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth." - Muhammad Ali
What should your opponent watch out for?
My deceptively slow hands *wink*
What's the first thing you'll do after you win?
Give my opponent a hug, and thank him for stepping up with me and making a difference.
