About Me
My decision to fight is rooted in two of my core principles. The first is that I believe the self finds meaning in the service of others. It is an honour to be part of something like the Pinball Foundation — to contribute to a cause larger than myself.
The second principle is one of my commitment to continual growth: ongoing goal-setting and self-improvement, regardless of age. This is just one of many new and exciting adventures I’ve chosen to pursue at this stage of my life.
Why
Who inspires you everyday?
Wow, that's a long list. Aside from my four children who have always been and always be my reason to live and breath - Here are my top three: Nelson Mandela, having endured 27 years in prison only to go on to become its first leader, Marcus Aurelius, a stoic philosopher and Roman emperor, and Rocky Marciano, the only heavyweight champion to retire UNDEFEATED.
Special shout out here to my coaches and club mates at Siberia Boxing Club, who inspire me to be my best.

Inspiration Song:
Eyes Closed - Imagine Dragons

Inspiring Quote:
First, from Dylon Thomas's famous poem:
"Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."
Secondly, from William E. Henley's poem Invictus:
"In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of fate, my head is bloody, but unbowed."

What should your opponent watch out for?
Heavyweight power. Middleweight speed and foot work.

What's the first thing you'll do after you win?
Thank my opponent, thank the ref and coaches, thank the crowd. Then grab my naproxen.
